Knit Cell Phone/iPod Case by Loopykd

Please check my Blog for other details.

Materials:

1 skein or ball worsted weight yarn color of your choice (I used Lily 1 Pound Cone of Sugar and Cream white)
Size 3 (US) needles
Size 3 double pointed needles
108 beads or number you decide (based on six rows of beads with 9 beads each)
Mini carabiner
Darning needle

Swatch your yarn! - You want 20 stitches = 4 inches wide (rows not as important)

Using your darning needle or other smaller needle that will fit your beads AND your yarn, string your beads onto your working yarn. Make sure you have the number of beads you want to use. If you get to the end of your project, and you don’t have enough beads, you can’t get them onto the yarn.
Cast on 20 stitches.
Knit in stockinette to row 5 ending row 4 as wrong side row or purl row.
Row 5: Purl on Knit side
Row 6: Purl on purl side
Row 7: Slip first stitch, knit to end of row
Row 8: Sl1 of each subsequent row and purl this row
Row 9: Sl1, K1, *bring yarn to front, Sl1, bring first bead down into positioin over slipped stitch, bring yarn back, K1. Repeat from * to the end of the row.
Row 10: Sl1. Purl
Row 11: Sl1, *bring yarn to front, Sl1, bring bead down into positioin over slipped stitch, bring yarn back, K1. Repeat from * until one stitch left, K1
Row 12: Sl1. Purl
Row 13: Sl1. Knit
Row 14: Sl1. Purl
Row 15: Repeat rows 9-14 twice.
Row 26: Sl1. Purl
Row 27: 3 rows stockinette
Row 31: Sl1. Purl
Row 32: Sl1. Purl
Row 33: Sl1. Knit
Row 34: Repeat rows 9-14
Row 40: Repeat row 9
Row 41: WS row. Sl1, P1, YO, P2tog, Purl to end.
Row 42: Repeat row 11
Continue in pattern stitch to 2 stockinette rows after last row of beads.

On cast-on row, pick up 20 stitches using any method you like. Using 3 needle bind off method, close the tube together with live stitches on your other needle and one of your size 3 double pointed needles. Cut working yarn and weave in end.

At the end of your tube that does NOT have the eyelet you created on Row 41, pick up 10 stitches on either size of the long edges of your tube. Using 3 needle bind off again, close the end of the tube. Weave in your ends.

On the INSIDE of the tube, directly opposite of your eyelet hole, pick up three stitches with a DPN. Start an I-cord with the three stitches to your desired length. Mine is about 6 inches. Here is a sort of tricky part: With your double pointed needle, thread the needle and the I-cord through the eyelet hole. This is how your case will close when your phone is in the case. Very very carefully, remove your DPN from the three live stitches. Open your carabiner and thread your carabiner through the live stitches. Cut your yarn and weave in the end (I sent it down the center of the I-cord after securing with a couple of other stitches). Carabiner

You are Done! Wooohoooo!

Definitely believe that which you said. Your favorite reason seemed to be on the internet
the simplest thing to be aware of. I say to you, I certainly get irked while people
consider worries that they just don’t know about.

You managed to hit the nail upon the top as well as defined out the whole thing
without having side effect , people can take a signal. Will likely be back to get more.
    Thanks
